It finaly happened

I got the BUG

I've always liked the sound and look of VW's Beetle. So when I was offered one I just couldn't refuse.

So I now have a 1972 1300 Beetle added to my list of vehicles.

Now I know what you're saying "here this site is supposed to be about bikes?" Well yes it is, but like most things it's evolving to cover all my motoring interests. But don't worry you won't find anything about Mondeos or Volvos here.

I'm the 5th owner of this Bug, I know 3 of the other owners as I work with them. Also the engine was rebuilt at 88K and 1600 barrels replaced the original 1300 items at that time.

This Beetle has now been passed on to my son Jon
