Shock Horror I Sometimes Drive a Car!

There are times when I drive a car, be it for pleasure or work. When I do I like to be different.

If you are going to drive a car, be different !!

I decided that as 90% of cars are dull and boring to drive I'd get something a bit different to pootle around in. As Julie has always liked the look of the Toyota MR2 MK2 I decided to see what they were like to drive. So I test drove one, and then I bought it.

Great Fun!

This particular model is the Coupe with the 2ltr normally aspirated OHC engine (there are also several versions with turbos)

It has some non standard parts fitted, 17" alloys and a Blitz type induction system.

So What Does it Go Like?

Well like a little rocket, it drives superbly. It's quite happy pootling along behind Sunday drivers, but if you want to leave them behind just drop a gear, get the engine spinning at 3500rpm, boot it and it takes off rapidly.

it's the kind of car that brings the hooligan element out in me.
